Jobcenters are institutions that support recipients of „Bürgergeld“. The legal basis for the work of the jobcenter is the social security code II. It primarily regulates suitable basic security for job seekers and the members of their household. The tasks of the jobcenters include ensuring minimum income security benefits to job seekers, supporting job seekers in taking up employment and promoting integration measures and vocational training.
