Michael Kellner studied political science in Potsdam, Canterbury/UK, and East Lansing/USA.
From October 2013 to January 2022, he served as the National Political Director of BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN and was a member of the federal executive committee.
Since 2021, he has been a member of the German Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
Since January 2022, he has also been the Federal Government Commissioner for SMEs.
As of October 2022, he is additionally the Federal Government’s contact person for the cultural and creative industries.
At the PEOPLE & CULTURE FESTIVAL 2024, he will be part of the panel on the topic “Transformation Is Everything – and Everywhere!”
