The Erich Pommer Institute (EPI) is one of the leading continuing education providers and think tanks in the German and European media landscape. As an affiliated institute of the Film University, it acts as a central interface between the audiovisual industry, science, and research.

What we do
Our programs focus on media management, media law, and leadership and diversity for professionals in the media and film industry. Our part-time offerings range from seminars, workshops, and executive master’s programs to conferences, online courses, and in-house training.

Projects
With initiatives on female leadership, diversity, sustainable qualification practices, and the Media Academy—a traineeship for lateral entry and re-entry into the film industry—we are providing impetus for a future-oriented industry.
