Katharina Wolff speaks in PCF panel – 3 questions for the STRIVE publisher

We are delighted that Katharina Wolff, founder and publisher of STRIVE magazine, will be participating as a panelist at the People & Culture Festival 2025. In 2020, she launched STRIVE, a business magazine that deliberately focuses on businesswomen and female leadership – contrary to all the voices that considered print and a female target audience to be “not viable for the future.” Today, STRIVE is considered an influential voice for female leadership, diversity in business, and the visibility of women in economy.

In the run-up to the festival, Katharina Wolff answered three questions for us – about her personal resilience strategies, the decisive moment of courage in her career, and the skills she believes will be indispensable in the future.

What personal strategies or tools help you stay resilient in your everyday work?
“I go jogging regularly, because it makes any anger disappear. Endorphins are a wonderful thing. I also always tell myself: I’m not performing open-heart surgery, I’m not saving lives. What’s the worst that can happen? No one is going to die!”

What was your own “moment of courage” that set you on your career path?
“In 2020, everyone told me that print was dead and that women weren’t a target group with enough purchasing power to launch a business magazine. I did it anyway and, fortunately, was able to prove to those voices that German businesswomen have enormous purchasing power and influence”.

What do you think are the most important future skills for remaining relevant in the (job) market?
“Even career starters will have to be able to delegate, because soon you’ll be managing AI and its agents right from the start of your career. In addition, adaptability without losing yourself is a really valuable skill these days! And since it’s becoming increasingly rare, those who are truly reliable today will be among the winners of the future.”

We look forward to more insights from Katharina Wolff at the People & Culture Festival 2025 and to exciting discussions on her panel in theme track 2: “Entrepreneurship & New Career Paths”.
