Born in 1970 in Lower Saxony, Stefan Franzke received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hanover and headed the Innovation Center Lower Saxony until 2014.

Since July 1, 2014, Dr. Stefan Franzke has been Managing Director of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology, the state’s business development agency. In this role, he is responsible for national and international business promotion, business relocation, innovation management, and capital city marketing.

Berlin Partner works to drive economic growth, foster business, technology, and innovation, and showcase the advantages of the capital to companies, investors, and talent. It also supports established companies and scientific institutions with expansion projects and connects them within the region.
