Kathrin Wischnath has been working as a journalist for text and photography since the days when photos were still developed analog in the studio. What does she love about digital work? Almost everything – but especially the freedom to work from anywhere.

In her (online) workshops and 1:1 consultations, she teaches solo entrepreneurs and corporate ambassadors from SMEs how to use LinkedIn effectively – for example, to find clients there, and more importantly: to be found by them.

Her goal: to create connections on equal footing and bring together the right people for the job, project, or collaboration. She shows her clients how to be personally present on LinkedIn, build trust and visibility – without being online all the time.

Since spring 2020, she has been working as a LinkedIn starter coach, drawing on her experience in journalism and PR, authorship and stage work, media education, social media, and online marketing. She especially enjoys supporting those who have very good reasons to be visible on LinkedIn, but still don’t feel comfortable on (online) stages – that gets better, she promises!

At the PEOPLE & CULTURE FESTIVAL 2025, she will speak on the topic “LinkedIn: Healthy habit or unnecessary stress? 3 tips for using LinkedIn with less time, more joy, and greater success.”
