Katie Gallus is a geographer, freelance journalist, and presenter with a passion for future-oriented topics and for people who are especially committed to the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to her work as a freelance journalist for outlets such as Deutsche Welle, ZDF, HR, and SWR, she has worked for the United Nations in New York City, conducted research in the Georgian Caucasus, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, and Brazil; lived in central Cameroon next to cocoa fields; worked as a filmmaker in Sierra Leone; and traveled independently for research through Iraq, Eritrea, and Ethiopia.
Katie Gallus works (in English, German, and French) on digital innovation and globalization, development cooperation, and human-environment relations.
