Sophie comes from Senegal and completed her doctorate in African Studies at the University of Cologne. In 2019, she moved to Berlin, where she worked as an editor for the magazine LoNam. With her interest in the empowerment and inclusion of migrants, she coordinated the community project Space2groW. Sophie is also involved in initiatives for the self-determination of refugees and migrants, as well as in development cooperation.
