NewMotion is the new entry-level job programme for more diversity in the film and television industry. The initiative aims to inspire people from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups for jobs behind the camera and make it as easy as possible to get there, e.g. through shadowing. Shadows can spend a few days looking over the shoulder of a filmmaker to familiarise themselves with the professional field and make initial contacts. Afterwards, NewMotion provides support and advice on the next steps into the film industry.
