Denise Grduszak completed her doctorate in German studies with a thesis on media anthropology and was mainly active in the cinema industry as an independent project manager from 2019. During the Corona pandemic, she acted as an initiator for the reopening of the only drive-in cinema in the GDR. From 2021-2022, she coordinated Holocaust survivor recordings for a digital archive. Since November 2022, she has been a project manager at the Erich Pommer Institut and is responsible, among other things, for coordinating the nationwide working group Fachkräfte-Strategie Film & TV.
