Julius Hassemer (he/him) develops courses for young adults on empowerment and career guidance at WeTeK Berlin gGmbH (a larger, Berlin-exclusive media education provider). He is also a lecturer on communication and anti-discrimination, for example at the Bundeswehr and the Job Center, co-founded a works council, works as a coach, and founded a parent initiative on diversity and anti-discrimination.His main focuses are communication, gender diversity, team building, and intersectional anti-discrimination.
He has researched and published on nonverbal communication (gesture studies) at the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Humboldt University in Berlin, and Europa University Viadrina. Julius also has 20 years of stage experience, including as a singer and moderator of a music cabaret trio. He has two children and lives in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
